SNP I am here for you
To honour Breast Cancer Awareness month and to help spread the word to get the girls checked, the Stamp N Plus Design Team decide to do a joint post featuring pink cards. It's also a way to celebrate the important women in our lives.
My card features the Stamp N Plus stamp, X818 Loving Birds. The image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and then cut out with the Memory Box Cherise Label die. Distress inks were layered on the background to create the sky effect.
The background of the card consists of three pink striped rectangles and a smaller pink floral rectangle, all pulled from my scrap box. The image was anchored visually by two large pink half pearls. The sentiment was computer generated, cut out using a template, and inked around the edges. A small ribbon with a pearl center represents the breast cancer ribbon of hope. A pink resin flower and two punched stacked flowers balance the upper left corner.
For more inspiration from the SNP design team, please visit our blog. Maybe you'll feel inspired to create a pink card or remind someone you love to get a breast examination for both your sakes.
Thanks for dropping by today.
Life is good; so is art.
