Glam ~ Atcs With Attitude

Hello and Happy Friday! This week at ATCs With Attitude, our challenge is to Add Some Sparkle. That's something everyone can easily do. I was lucky enough to play with Sassy Studio Designs' gorgeous My Fair Lady image. She was coloured with Prismacolor pencils, fussy cut, and given additional sparkle by adding Icicle Stickles to her bows, stripes, and parasol.

To continue the sparkly theme, an atc base (2.5 x 3.5") was cut from purple cardstock that has turquoise glitter embedded in it. A manila tag was colourized by inking my craft mat with Peacock Feathers Distress ink, spritzing with water, and collecting the colour by dragging the tag through it. Once dry, it was sprayed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist. The tag was cut to fit inside the purple mat and adhered to the background. A length of glittery yellow ribbon from my stash was glued to the bottom edge of the tag. Eliza was adhered slightly overlapping the ribbon to give her a base to stand on.

To complete this ATC, glittery black letter stickers were placed on the left side of Eliza to spell Glam ('cause she is). Two sizes of gold coloured rhinestones were affixed to the left side of the ribbon (more sparkle...oh my!). The small scalloped border was punched from black cardstock and adhered to the right side of Eliza in order to balance the black letters and add some curves...just like Eliza does :)

Thanks for stopping by today. Sorry I didn't dress up all fancy-shmancy like Eliza did. I figured she had it covered for both of us. Be sure to pop by the Fun With ATCs blog to see the sparkly creations by the rest of the DT. We would love to have you play along with us. Just get your sparkle on :)

Life is good; so is art.
