I love this fun Patti's Kids image from Stamp N Plus. It's perfect for a boy's card but would also work for so many other occasions because you can write whatever your little heart desires in the star. I coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils, using OMS to blend. Then I stamped him a second time on yellow patterned paper so that I could paper piece the star. The sentiment was printed on the computer. The fussy cut star was adhered to the printed computer paper with repositional tape and put through the printer again. Then all I had to do was glue the new star over the old. The little fellow was popped up on foam squares to give him some dimension.
For the background, a rectangle was cut out of scrap green patterned paper and blue rickrack was added top and bottom to form borders. Bright green buttons were threaded with white and glued to the bottom band to echo the circles in the patterned paper. Easy peasy card but so cute! Fun to colour, too.

In the 90's Patti's Kids stamps were owned by a company in the San Francisco area by a company called Love You to Bits. LuAnn required the stamp line when she bought Stamp Affair. My daughter lived in San Fran in the early 90's and we used to go to the Love You to Bits factory outlet and buy the used indexing stamps for $6/pound (mounted). One time I brought back 10 lbs. This Superstar boy was one of the first Patti's stamps that my daughter bought. i was more interested in the kitty stamps. Love your design. The green buttons are a great anchor. Nice "boy" colors.
