Gee, thanks! ~ CYP challenge 171
There's a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and it's an easy-peasy one. The theme this week is Thank You. That's one kind of card I always like to keep on hand. The background papers all came from K & Company's Wild Raspberry paper stack. Each rectangle was matted in black cardstock to add definition to the layers.
I coloured this adorable stamp from Whimsy Stamps, who happens to be one of our sponsors this week, using my Prismacolor pencils. The image was cut using a modified Spellbinders Labels 1 die and was then matted in black cardstock and popped up on foam tape before it was adhered to the card. The sentiment is an older stamp from an unknown company. It was stamped in white pigment ink and then sprinkled with white embossing powder before it was heat set. The sentiment was then torn around and glued to the image layer. To finish the card, three red buttons were threaded with white embroidery floss before being Glossy Accented to the card front.
While I am in the "thanks" mode, I want to thank you for your lovely visits and continued support. I really do appreciate your popping by and enjoy your feedback. Consider this card a personal thank you to each of you. If you get a chance, drop by the Craft Your Passion blog to see the Thank You responses to this week's challenge from the rest of the DT. We were able to choose any image we had this week which is always fun to check out. As always, I cannot wait to see what you come up with should you decide to play along.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create #28 ~ Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time #172 ~ Use a Digi
Robyn's Fetish #168 ~ Things With Wings
Annabelle Stamps AC 167 ~ Polka Dots
A Gem of a Challenge #88 ~ Spots/Stripes or Both
