SNP Fintastic Day

Today I'm featuring a 4 x 5.25" card which could serve for several occasions depending upon the inside message. I used the left facing angel fish stamp found at Stamp N Plus Scrap N shop.. The little fella was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. A black half pearl was added to his eye and Icicle Stickles was painted across him so that he glitters. (I wouldn't eat him :D...just sayin')

The background paper came from the Me & My Big Ideas Low Tide stack matted with brown cardstock. Faux stitching was added at the top of each pattern section to emphasize the waves.  Two Spellbinders Shapeabilities dies were used to cut the "seaweed" which was embellished with rhinestones. Cheesecloth sprayed with two colours of Glimmer Mist was adhered at the base of the seaweed and MudPuddles' sea glass was layered on top of that. Vintage Photo Distress Stickles covers the dots on the scales and Dew Drops form the bubbles. The sentiment was computer generated on kraft cardstock, matted with brown cardstock, and then popped up on foam dots to add dimension. Easy-peasy but fun!

Thanks for visiting today. My day is fintastic, for sure, when you stop by:)

Life is good; so is art.

Fintastic job Bonnie (well it just had to be said...). The angel fish is stunning and it was a genius idea to use those feathers and cheesecloth for the sea bed. I certainly would not eat him either, he is far too beautiful for that! Hugs, Anne x
